Tak tahu kenapa..selepas subuh pagi tadi, waktu bilik masih lagi hening, tiba-tiba teringat akan bait-bait lagu Yassin ni. Sungguhpun ini lagu yang boleh ditafsir sebagai lagu cinta sebenarnya, tapi bagi saya, saya nampak maksudnya ditujukan buat Allah. Ditambah pula setelah membaca tafsir Surah Al-Kahfi dan menyambung hafazan yag tak sederas dulu, serasa ada rindu yang sangat memuncak dalam hati. Terfikir pula seketika. Sempurnakah solat selama hidup ini? Cukupkah amalan? Apakah bekalan di hari kemudian? Tak terjawab... Betapa saya rasa sangat-sangat terperosok jauh ke dalam lubung yag dalam kerana malu untuk berdepan denganNya nanti. Sungguhpun kini malu, tapi dalam hati masih ada rindu buatMu...

Owh... YASSIN mmg one of my favourite artist!! Cuma aku tak berapa nak die-hard fan pada dia coz dia nyer vocal tak banyak LENGGOK haha...
But I tell you Sarah... This guy really is a GENIUS!! It's not just the music that he compose... But THE LYRICS TOO!!.. Kalo Sarah perasan.. Lirik2 dia mmg bait2 dia tak byk... Words dia biasanya pendek dan tak meleret.. Tapi makna yg tersirat MENDALAM SUNGGUH!!
Sumer lagu yg dia cipta.. Walaupon surface dia TEMA CINTA... Tp deep inside CINTA yg dia cuba ketengahkan bkan CINTA MEMBUTA TULI... Even utk lagu2 yg dia buat cam AISYAH.. Kalo nak kira bley je anggap lagu tu utk org2 pompuan tah mana2 yg nama AISYAH... But if you look at it in a different point of view.. The words might just be used to describe our Prophet's beloved wife...
Lagu2 YASIN mmg aku suka betul.. Rentak irama Arab dia masyuuuukkk... Yg lagi COOL sbb kalo Sarah perasaan.. ARABIC LYRICS yg dia pakai sbg selitan dalam lagu2 Melayu dia, ada yg dia amik dari Quran... Cam dalam lagu MIMPI LAILA... Part SARABIN BIQI'ATIN tu mmg ada exact WORD dalam QURAN!! Tak ingat surah apa.. But i've come through the word!!

truth is, i like all his songs (eventhough u claimed he has no lenggok). the only malay singer that i prefer to listen to n will go thru the lyrics over n over again is YASSIN.
even some keep complaining about his multi-personality, but for me, it doesnt effect the way he tries to educate the public by putting forward thru his musics n lyrics. very2 outstanding.
when i was in my 1st yr here, 1 hv 1 playlist compiling all his songs ONLY. to listen to his songs, doesnt make me feel that they are only ordinary one but surely extraordinary one! the lyrics are simple (n short too) but the deep meanings of them that are counted.
we need such people who really into the lyrics to make the songs educable n informative!

OWHH.. Dont get me wrong ukht hehe.. Aku pon suka YASSIN juga!!... Aku memang amat2 salute style music dia... Very much to my liking hehe.. It's just the fact that I'm not so much so 'fanatic' about him is bcoz in my musical preferences, the singer must have at the very least an ability to produce some sort of LENGGOK hehe ;)
Otherwise.. Put away the fact that he doesnt do LENGGOKssss.. His type of music is VERY MUCH LIKEABLE if not LOVEABLE!! I myself adore the way he makes his music & OF COURSE his MUSICS!!
& I do agree with you.. Some people just cant appreciate his talent.. But am not among those kinda people hehe.. Kalo pon I takle appreciate vocal dia.. I definitely bley appreciate lirik dia... I LIKE I LIKE hehe ;)
